Recently, a new collaboration was announced to make the redemption of SNAP benefits EBT cards in DoorDash and Walgreens, it is in approximately 7,800 stores throughout the country, DoorDash for its part is the first platform that allows SNAP/EBT beneficiaries to make purchases directly at Walgreens, using the SNAP/EBT card. On the other hand, DoorDash is also the first third-party delivery service provider (DSP) to offer SNAP/EBT as a payment method at one of the most relevant pharmacies in the country.
Now that Walgreens is a part, DoorDash is increasing and by far the number of stores available for on-demand delivery with SNAP/EBT payments on DoorDash. The distribution company continues to expand access to food, thus offering SNAP/EBT to about 14 million people living in food need and to more than 40 million citizens living in communities where 1 in 10 households are SNAP/EBT beneficiaries.
”Since SNAP/EBT payment support was applied in 2023, nearly 1.1 million consumers have included their SNAP/EBT cards to DoorDash,” said Fuad Hannon, vice president of New Verticals. “This first-of-its-kind partnership with Walgreens provides convenient and fundamental access to food and pantry staples for families and individuals nationwide. We are proud to remove as many barriers as possible when it comes to connecting people to food, wherever they live and however they choose to shop.”
Walgreens will have more than 4,000 SNAP-eligible products available for delivery within an hour on DoorDash.
“This union with DoorDash means that our shoppers can now get essential grocery items whenever they want, regardless of payment method and other barriers such as work schedules and transportation,” said Balachandra Visalatha, senior vice president and chief product officer at Walgreens.
Snap Benefits Dates in Florida: May 2024 Schedule Revealed
In the state of Florida, the food stamps are delivered from the 1st to the 28th of each month, depending on the case number of each beneficiary. You can find the case number on the Benefit Approval Letter or you can call Florida DCF Customer Service Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. At 850-300-4323.
These are the days when the benefits that are pending for the month of April will be deposited:
- 46-48 14th of the month
- 49-53 15th of the month
- 54-57 16th of the month
- 58-60 17th of the month
- 61-64 18th of the month
- 65-67 19th of the month
- 68-71 20th of the month
- 72-74 21st of the month
- 75-78 22nd of the month
- 79-81 23rd of the month
- 82-85 24th of the month
- 86-88 25th of the month
- 89-92 26th of the month
- 93-95 27th of the month
- 96-99 28th of the month
If you receive cash assistance or SUNCAP (food assistance for those receiving SSI), the benefits will be available to you the first 3 days of the month, depending on your case number (Eighth and ninth digits of the case number):

- 34-66 2 of the month
- 67-99 3 of the month
If you want to get help from SNAP, contact your local human services office, the managers will do a study to find out if you qualify. If you go through a recent increase in certain expenses, or you think the state does not know about these expenses: housing or child care costs, child support payments, or if there is someone in your household who is 60 or older, or has a disability or monthly medical expenses of $35 or more.
