The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), or food stamp program, of the state of Florida, provides food to residents and families with limited resources, making sure that they can have adequate nutrition. An important part of this aid program is the deposit schedule of food stamps, which is where it is indicated when they are deposited into the accounts of the beneficiaries.
The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) administers SNAP benefits in the state, since the program, although federally funded by the USDA, is administered at the local level by each state, and these in turn, usually delegate the administration to counties or local organizations.
