Through the sale of BOBS shoes, Skechers has donated more than $11 million to support animal welfare organizations across the United States, helping to save and care for more than two million dogs and cats from shelters that, Otherwise, they would have ended in the worst way.
Skechers’ relationship with Petco Love, a network of more than 4,000 animal protection organizations across America, has been key in implementing adoption and vaccination events, as well as transportation logistics for animals that need to be rehomed in permanent residences, where they receive love and respect. New BOBS models are now available in stores in the United States and on their website.
Skechers Relaunches Its “Paws for a Cause” Scholarship Program
Skechers’ Paws for a Cause design scholarship program is back for the second year in a row, connecting young creatives with the company’s philanthropic movement. In this edition, last year’s winners, Maki S. and Teeny N., will join the panel of judges to select the next student honorees.
Officially, the new call was launched on September 3 and its objective is for students from all over the United States to create animal-themed prints. The winners will be printed on Skechers BOBS sneaker lines and part of the sales will support animal shelters, as we have already said this line does.
BOBS D’Vine — Cute Commute by Skechers
The beautiful ones BOBS D’Vine – Cute Commute from Skechers are the result of the Paws for a Cause grant, and their design is fun and colorful and was made by USC design student Maki S. who was inspired by her three adopted shelter dogs: Choby, Sandy and Ace. During the pandemic, their pets’ antics filled their home with laughter and warmth. Its design reflects the freedom and joy that pets can bring, in addition to teaching us resilience and simplicity.
The canvas upper features a “Bark ‘n’ Drive” print and decorative laces, along with a Skechers Memory Foam insole for comfort. They are on sale on the Skechers website and in their US stores for $55.00.
BOBS D’Vine — High-Class Cat by Skechers
Christina (Teeny) N., an animation student at Cal State Fullerton went the other way, because she is team cats: her beloved Firefly was the inspiration for the design of these super cute sneakers BOBS D’Vine – High-Class Cat. It’s also part of the Paws for a Cause line, and the “Regal Cat” mosaic print is complemented by decorative laces and a patented Skechers Memory Foam cushioned insole.
Let Firefly the cat rule your house, like she did at Christina’s house, while raising awareness and saving the lives of dogs and cats across the country. They are priced at $55 and with every purchase a donation is made to a shelter.
BOBS D’Vine — Windy Kitty by Skechers
In a powerful blue color and a pattern of fancy cats with elegant black cravings, the BOBS D’Vine – Windy Kitty of Skechers shout “my cat is the king of style” out loud. Although they are not part of the Paws for a Cause scholarships, they are also part of Skechers’ philanthropy and support local shelters across the country.
They’re priced at $55, like almost all Skechers BOBS, and part of the value goes straight to animal charity. A cushioned Skechers Memory Foam insole complements these simple but comfortable flats.
