Finally, a collection of gaming furniture that doesn’t look like it came from a low-rent store, or was created by designers fueled by energy drinks. It’s the BRÄNNBOLL line launched this year by IKEA around the world, and yes, that includes the United States of course.
The BRÄNNBOLL collection has about 20 different products, including several gaming chairs among which one of the most ingenious things that IKEA, or any human ever, has created. It looks like a donut, but it’s definitely a clever idea because of one small detail: with a little movement, it turns into two pieces.

The IKEA BRÄNNBOLL gaming collection is bold, colorful, intrepid, but maintains the spirit of the Swedish brand that mixes Scandinavian design with conceptual functionality that comes from the historic Bauhaus design school.
The BRÄNNBOLL donut-shaped gaming chair is an ingenious design: it is an inflatable that has a ring shape and is perfect for lying down to watch TV, or playing the latest game just released, but in addition, the center could be pulled out to become a footrest. It’s like having two pieces of furniture in one, and it can also be deflated when not needed, so that it doesn’t take up space unnecessarily.
