Have you purchased products from at a Sephora store? Well, you may be able to claim a one-time payment of up to $500, after the company decided to settle with the plaintiffs to settle this $9.2 million class action lawsuit

In reality, the agreement is related to the Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare brand, and is limited to the “C+Collagen” product, of that brand, purchased between March 10, 2016 and June 28, 2024.

The plaintiffs in the class action lawsuit alleged that Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare misled them regarding the collagen contained in the “C+Collagen” products: they argued that they would not have purchased the products or paid the marked price in the store if they had known that they didn’t have collagen at all.

Some Plaintiffs Can Get Up to $500 — Here’s How

The class action settlement states in its terms that class members can receive up to $50 for each product purchased. Even without proof of purchase, qualified plaintiffs can claim two products for a maximum of $100 total. With proof of purchase, group members can claim up to ten products for a maximum payment of $500.

Payments may increase or decrease on a prorated basis, depending on the number of claims submitted to the class action that are deemed qualifying for the settlement. Prorated increases are limited to $100 per class product.

This Settlement applies only to C+Collagen products, not any other Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare products, or any product from another brand sold by Sephora, or other retailers.
